Barring another addition at QB, the Browns will have to decide between Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders. They also have the recently signed Tyler Huntley competing for a spot on the depth chart. That’s not even including Deshaun Watson, who’s still working his way back from another Achilles tear.

Cleveland traded DTR and a 2025 fifth-round pick (originally from the Lions) to the Philadelphia Eagles for Kenny Pickett, who was a 2022 first-round pick. That deal was completed on March 10, before the Browns took either of their current rookie QBs, Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.

In an odd quirk, the Browns faced a team’s No. 1 quarterback almost 94 percent of the time in 2024, according to ESPN’s Bill Barnwell, which was the highest in the league. That is compared to the league average of 76.4 percent.
