After torrential downpours across southeast Wisconsin and severe storms wreaked havoc around the state, Governor Tony Evers announced that he’s requesting assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
While visiting flooded homes in Milwaukee, Evers said he hasn't heard from FEMA since his call for aid Aug. 13, but hopes for a timely decision.
