Water service has been restored to thousands of residents in the Granada Hills and Porter Ranch communities almost a week after service was disrupted, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power says.

Water service has been restored for more than 9,200 residents in Granada Hills and Porter Ranch after a major outage. Customers are still advised to boil water or use bottled water while the LADWP conducts water quality tests.
