Luke Keaschall hit a two-run homer in the 11th inning, Ryan Fitzgerald homered for his first career hit, and the Minnesota Twins beat the Kansas City Royals 5-3.

The Twins made Sunday’s series finale against Kansas City a bullpen day, and fielded a starting lineup that included only two players you’d call major league veterans, but beat the Royals, 5-3 in 11 innings, on Luke Keaschall’s two-out, two-run home run.

Luke Keaschall hit his first career homer in his first at-bat after missing three-plus months with an injury, leading the Twins past the Tigers 6-3.
