Manila-born Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto received a warm homecoming at the Philippine premiere of Disney’s “Freakier Friday” on August 5.

Jacinto joins Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Chad Michael Murray and more for "Freakier Friday," the long-awaited follow up to their 2003 hit film, in theaters Friday. Jacinto plays Eric, husband to Lohan's character Anna.

"We're really commemorating all the single parents, all the divorced families who are trying to make it work," Jacinto tells Newsweek about Freakier Friday.
