The New England Patriots suffered a medical scare during this Monday's practice. According to multiple reports, Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams had to leave practice early because he collapsed on the sideline.

Williams, who spent last season as the defensive line coach/run game coordinator for the NFC's top-seeded Lions, was all over social media after he suffered a pretty significant medical scare during practice on Monday.

Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams left the team’s practice Monday on a cart after getting treated for dehydration, the team said. A stretcher was brought out to the field, but Williams got up under his own power and headed inside on a cart. The team said he was “fine,” according to the Boston Herald.

The New England Patriots practiced in full pads on Monday ahead of hosting the Washington Commanders for joint practices.
