Scottie Scheffler comes into the BMW Championship with a 2,000-point lead in the FedEx Cup standings. No one in the 50-golfer field can leapfrog Scheffler in the standings prior to next week's Tour Championship.

Caddie Ted Scott won’t accompany Scottie Scheffler as he closes out the FedEx Cup St. Jude Championship on Sunday. The PGA Tour announced Sunday morning that Scheffler would go into the fourth round with fill-in caddie Brad Payne. Scott returned home due to a private family matter.

Scottie Scheffler will have to do without Ted Scott for at least another week and will be working with a new caddie at the BMW Championship.
