Meijer's home grocery delivery service is now offering alcohol delivery for Ohio customers. Customers throughout the state can now have beer, wine and spirits delivered to their door.

Meijer expects to invest nearly half a billion dollars in Northeast Ohio by the end of 2025 by remodeling and opening about 20 stores. Anderson said that equates to about 4,000 jobs.

Meijer currently has more than 40 stores in Ohio in the areas surrounding Toledo, Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati. "You can come anytime, it's open 24 hours," said Randy Bailey of Huron.
