Over the next couple of days, I’m going to try and highlight some significant Justin Fields plays from the preseason opener against the Packers. Fields’ first passing attempt of the game came on a third and five play.

Justin Fields was jogging off the field after leading the Jets on a touchdown drive in Saturday’s preseason game and was met with a big smile and congratulatory hand slap from Aaron Glenn. The relationship between head coach and quarterback is very important, and these two have developed a strong one in a short time.

The Jets topped the Green Bay Packers in their 2025 NFL preseason opener to the tune of a 30-10 final. Fields only played one series but made it count. He was 3-for-4 passing for 42 yards. He rushed in a touchdown to cap the drive. Head coach Aaron Glenn was left impressed.
