On the same day Napheesa Collier was named the WNBA's Western Conference Player of the Month for July, the Lynx announced she'll be out at least two weeks with an ankle injury.

Collier, the 2024 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year and a leading contender for this season's MVP, underwent an MRI that confirmed a sprain but ruled out any serious damage, the Lynx said in a team statement.
